Dr. Abigail Mobley-Bellinger, Physical Education
The primary objective of the Physical Education curriculum is to use developmentally appropriate games and activities to provide students maximum opportunities for skill improvement and participation. Skill building games that enhance self-improvement and emphasize cooperation, rather than competition, are the major thrust at this level of physical development.
It is my hope that you find the Physical Education program at Pasadena Lakes Elementary something your child looks forward to and helps them develop physically, mentally, socially, and emotionally. The goal is to have FUN!
What can you and your child do to make this year a success?
· Students should wear sneakers or an athletic shoe on days they have physical education, no Crocs or sandals.
· Parents/guardians should notify the physical education teacher of any illness or injury that may prevent their child from participating
· Students should get a good night’s sleep and eat breakfast each morning.
· Students are expected to be ready, responsible, and respectful to themselves, the teacher, and each other.
· Talk to your child about their experiences in physical education.
